ABOUT VICTOR

Victor Montanaro began playing drums at the age of 11. Currently, he is a full-time member of Cheshire Grin (formerly Gallagher's Guest House), Arkitextures, Third From the Sun, Dmanzland, and Omega Train, and is in the rotation of live drummers for Strumberry Pie. He was also the live drummer for NJ based rock band The Gab Cinque Band in 2022, NJ-based rock artist and singer/songwriter Ross Owen from 2018 to 2022, and NJ-based alternative rock band Still Ghost from 2020 to 2021. Victor is an artist and endorser of Soultone Cymbals.

 

Victor graduated with an associate's degree in music from Brookdale Community College in December 2018, a bachelor's degree in psychology from Monmouth University in May 2021, and a master's degree in social work with a clinical concentration and an Addiction Counselor Training (ACT) certificate from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in May 2023. He is a licensed social worker in the state of New Jersey and works as a behavioral health clinician at a non-profit mental health clinic in Central Jersey (which is real). He was also the senior drum coach at Rock Out Loud in Morganville, New Jersey from fall 2019 to summer 2023.
